Scott Shirley

Scott Shirley has served as a teacher, administrator, or principal in the Madison School District in Rexburg, Idaho, since August of 1987. He graduated from BYU with a B.S. in Education, and holds a Master’s and Education Specialist degree from Idaho State University.

He has been married to his wife, Jan Shirley, for forty-two years, and has five children and eighteen grandchildren. He began studying music in 1958 and has continued to play many different musical instruments to this day. He has participated in various musical groups for the past fifty years. He has used his musical talent throughout his career as a teacher and educator. He is fluent in Spanish and holds the rank of Sho Dan, or First Degree Black Belt, in Shito-Ryu Karate.
