Dr. Jacob K. Curtis joined Grand Peaks Medical in June of 2016.

For the last eight years Dr. Curtis has provided family medicine, emergency medicine, and obstetrics in Cache Valley. Originally from Teton Valley, he and his wife Jamie are excited to be back in Rexburg where they first met nearly 20 years ago.

He comes highly trained and experienced and is excited to contribute to the excellent care already being provided in the community. He provides an extensive variety of primary care procedures with a focus and advanced training in Obstetrics. He has delivered over 1,000 babies thus far in his career. Professionally he has also been active. He has served on the board of the Idaho Academy of Family Physicians and currently serves as the chair of the procedural medicine committee of the ACOFP. Curtis provides lectures statewide and nationally, and has been published in medical journals and textbooks. Though a late bloomer, he has also become a statewide advocate of the importance of sleep and improving the quality thereof.

He and his wife have 5 daughters. As a family they enjoy boating, wake boarding, camping, snowboarding, and doing things together at home. They have also enjoyed being actively involved in the community where they came from and look forward to doing the same here.
